Essie Perlmutter is a true native of Colorado as she was born in Denver, Colorado.  Essie and her husband raised four children in Denver and is blessed with eleven grandchildren.

Essie received her Bachelor’s degree at Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado and she enjoys painting and creating sculptures. She has been honored by Local Synagogues of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado by being given the Golda Meer Award, Denver University School of Judaic History.

Although Essie has not had formal studies in art, she has painted with, and satisfied some gifted teachers at the Art Students League. Essie’s favorite piece she has created is of a young man sitting in a chair wearing a sweatshirt.  His hair is in dreadlocks and the piece is called “Mr. Individuality”.
